Super 45 Cantaloupe
Pretty salmon-red flesh and extra-sweet taste are reason enough to grow Super 45, but this hybrid variety’s abundant crop is one reason more. Cantaloupes, also called muskmelons, are more than 90% water, so be sure to provide frequent, regular waterings. To save space, plant 1 foot apart at the base of a fence or trellis where the long vines can climb. Super 45 cantaloupe is resistant to powdery mildew.
