Get young transplants and seeds off to the right start. From their first day in your garden, they need the right mix of nutrients to germinate and grow. This gentle blend includes phosphorus for vigorous root development. It also contains calcium, which builds stronger cell walls and boosts the plant’s ability to fight off disease.
Happy Frog® Jump Start formula is pH-balanced with premium organic ingredients like bat guano, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, and other beneficial microbes to help convert fertilizers into vital plant food. It helps with seed germination and may increase the uptake of important micronutrients.
Garden tip: Use Starter on all new plantings, as well as cuttings and seeds. For individual plants, add 1-2 tablespoons to each plant. In rows, use 1 cup per 10 square feet of planting area. After 3 weeks, switch to a Happy Frog® fertilizer designed just for them, such as our Fruit & Flower or Tomato & Vegetable blends.
