Without just the right pH balance, the roots simply cannot access the nutrients in the soil. Our Acid Loving Plants formula has a special pH level just for acid-loving plants. Specifically formulated for use on azaleas, rhododendrons, camelias, hydrangeas, evergreens, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, potatoes, and all other acid loving plants.
A blend of natural fertilizers and micro-organisms that work in harmony with the soil to deliver optimum plant nutrition. Contains an additional boost of nitrogen for heavy feeding shrubs and cottonseed meal, an excellent slow release fertilizer for plants that need a low pH. All Happy Frog® fertilizers are blended with premium organic ingredients like cottonseed meal, feather meal, bat guano, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, and a host of beneficial microbes to help convert fertilizers into vital plant food and enhance disease-resistance.
Garden Tip: For new plantings, use 1/4 cup for every plant, and scatter another 1/2 cup around the base of the plant after it’s in the ground. Mix two parts FoxFarm Original Planting Mix with one part native soil when you plant. For established plants, use 1/2 cup for every 2 feet of plant height. Fertilize spring-blooming plants once in early spring as soon as buds start to appear, and again at the end of the blooming season as flowers wither away. Mulch well with our Happy Frog® Soil Conditioner to protect and nourish roots.
