Mexican Heather
Lavender-pink flowers and tiny leathery leaves make a delightful combination on this compact plant that has become very popular for pots, window boxes, and other containers. Also use in masses as a seasonal ground cover. Can be perennial in zones 9 to 11.
Tolerant of most soil types as long as they drain well, Mexican Heather will bloom continuously through the warm months. It is easy to pinch or shear to maintain a desired shape, although it is not necessary.
